If
If I stood right there
In front of you
And flipped backwards perfectly,
Would you believe it?
If I ran 1,000 miles
And I wasn't out of breath
Or even the slightest bit tired,
Would you still believe it?
If I went up for my approach,
Slammed the volleyball down,
And killed it to the ground.
Even then, would you believe me?
If I were up to bat
And hit a grand slam
so far out of the park,
Would you believe me?
Or would you be happy
That I succeeded in a task
You knew I could do?
I wonder.
If I stood right there
In front of you
And flipped backwards perfectly,
Would you believe it?
If I ran 1,000 miles
And I wasn't out of breath
Or even the slightest bit tired,
Would you still believe it?
If I went up for my approach,
Slammed the volleyball down,
And killed it to the ground.
Even then, would you believe me?
If I were up to bat
And hit a grand slam
so far out of the park,
Would you believe me?
Or would you be happy
That I succeeded in a task
You knew I could do?
I wonder.
